My fav fynbos however and the flower that I feel represent my being is a protea – tough on the outside to endure all the harshness of life, but velvety soft and delicate on the inside. Grew up in Bredasdorp with the smell of fynbos in the air….sjoe, miss those days!

  21. Am passionate about both the fynbos and the forests. Our wealth of trees is not as accessible but the fragments of forest that remain seem to be disregarded by so many as cold dark places – so inaccurate!.
Please keep up your inspiring work. Hugely appreciated.
